Tej Pratap Yadav filed for divorce in November 2018, only six months after they wed, citing incompatibilities.
She was seen sobbing in front of the Yadav family’s Patna home on the circular road in December 2019 and said that Rabri Devi had attacked her and forced her out of her home. She claimed that her mother-in-law, Rabri Devi, a former chief minister of Bihar, assaulted her, dragged her by her hair, stole her phone and other possessions, and then drove her out of the house.
