Baljinder Atwal served in the Indian telephone department for three years before migrating to Canada in 1985. He worked as an electrician for many years in Canada with Gill Electric Co., he acted in Pollywood films such as Jee Aayan Nu, Jag Jeondeyan De Mele, Yaara O Dildara, and Police, he is a famous TV host of national TV programme Des Pardes in Canada on Vision TV since 1995, and he hosts a daily Punjabi music programme Sur Punjab De on Red FM Vancouver since 2006.
