A man named Chandra Kishore Patil has been winning praises on the internet for a simple deed he executed. He was seen standing near the garbage dump in the city. On a bridge where people dump waste into the Godavari River.
Chandra Kishore Patil stands here from morning till 11 pm at night with a whistle and stops people from throwing garbage into the river. Many people behave rudely like him, but he still pursues them not to do such things.
When asked how he deals with the resistance, he said that he fills bottles with the river water and asks the people to take a sip from it. If they refuse, they will inform them of the heavy pollution of the river.
