Naveen Kaushik is an Indian film actor who has primarily worked in Bollywood. Navin has appeared in films such as Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Mai.
PERSONAL
His father and mother are doctors. He a is a resident of Delhi.
EDUCATION
He completed his schooling from Delhi’s General Raj’s School. He is grduated. There he discovered his passion for everything artistic and performance driven.
CAREER
In 1999, at the age of 17, he began working in Delhi theatre. He performed with numerous organisations in the Delhi college theatre scene before joining Act One Art Group in 2002, after spending a summer learning and performing with The Theatre Action Group (TAG) under the mentorship of Barry John. Working with Mr. NK Sharma, Naveen began his acting studies, which led to his relocation to Mumbai in 2009. Naveen, the son of doctors, was constantly interested in extracurricular activities at school.
Naveen received his first big break in the film business after a fortuitous meeting with Abhimanyu Ray at the YRF Studios casting office, portraying the part of Nitin Rathode in “Rocket Singh – Salesman of the Year.” Since then, he has worked on around 15 films, as well as three television and web-based projects.
Naveen divides his time between acting assignments and establishing Improv Comedy Mumbai, India’s premier improvisational teaching and performing college (ICM). He has performed, coached, and represented India in International Improv festivals around Europe and North America as a member of India’s top Improv team.
