Deeplina Deka, also known as Pori, is an Indian Assamese singer and actress from Guwahati, Assam. Deeplina makes her acting debut in Zubeen Garg’s Assamese box office smash “Mission China.” Deeplina, an electrical engineer by trade, is a well-known singer in Assam. She was a Kathak dancer with a Vishard Degree in classical music. Strom’s recent hit “Sui Diayana” from the “Deeplina Deka Love Series” is growing more popular. Deeplina Deka was born on February 7, 1992, and will be 29 years old in 2021.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Deeplina was raised in Guwahati’s Bamunimaidan neighbourhood. Her father, Babul Kumar Deka, worked at the Nagaon paper mill, while her mother, Padumi Deka, was a homemaker. Deeplina has a sibling who is older than her.
EDUCATION
Deeplina finished her education at “Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jagirod.” After finishing her tenth grade, she returned to her hometown of Guwahati to study upper secondary at ‘Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri.’
Deeplina graduated from Girijananda Chowdhury Institute Of Management And Technology (GIMT) in Guwahati with a degree in Electrical Engineering. She was a regular competitor in the College’s singing, dance, and dramatics competitions. This multi-talented young lady is also a Kathak dancer with a Visharad degree in classical music.
CAREER
Deeplina Deka was always a good student in school. She excelled at sports and finished fourth in the National Level Badminton competition in 2007. For three years, Deeplina represented Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jagirod in regional sports.
Deeplina worked as an engineer at Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd before being invited to audition for the film Mission China, directed by Zubeen Garg. Deeplina left her current job after being chosen to work in the film and music industries. Deeplina Deka’s debut music video, “Nuwari Nuwari,” recorded alongside vocalist Tarun Tanmoy, was released on February 23, 2015.
Deeplina Deka recorded a song called Sui Diyana specifically for her popular film Mission China and released it on her YouTube channel in 2017. The song was well received by Deeplina’s admirers, propelling her career forward. Deeplina Deka now performs live stage shows around Assam and the North East.
Deeplina also serves as a Doordarshan anchor. According to reports, she will next be seen in Chandra Mudoi’s film.
