Monica Khanna is a well educated and highly qualified pilot at SpiceJet Limited. She is popularly known for landed the flight safely at Patna airport after the engine caught fire .

Monica Khanna came in limelight on June 19 when Patna SpiceJet flight took off from the Patna airport for Delhi and after a short span it suffered a mid-air engine fire. Gurucharan Arora conveyed that the pilots handled the situation really very well. He said that only a single engine was functioning when the plane landed back at Patna airport . Engineers confirmed that the fan blade and engine damaged because bird hit it.
He also added that the pilot captain Monica Khanna who was the pilot in command of the SpiceJet Limited flight. The flight suffered engine failure during the take off, it was loaded with fuel and landing a fully fueled aircraft safely is challenging for any pilot and the captain, Monica Khanna did it and decided to shutdown the affected engine and decided to return to Patna.
