IPS Hriday Kant, alumni of Mahendra Muni Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Madhupur Deoghar is appointed as the new SP of Araria district. He was earlier holding the post of SDPO in Sasaram Bihar. 31st December 2021 he was transferred to Samastipur from Arariya.
