Anita Gupta

Anita Gupta is a board-certified pain specialist, pharmacologist, and anesthesiologist who is working in the field of Healthcare for the last 20 years.

EDUCATION

Anita holds her Doctorate degree in Pharmacy at Rutgers and her medical degree from UMDNJ and residency in anesthesiology at Georgetown University. She did clinical scientist training at the National Institutes of Health. Following residency, she completed a pain fellowship from Johns Hopkins University.

ABOUT

Anita Gupta received the Award for learning from the American Association of Medical Colleges, Washington D.C. and she has been an FDA Advisor. She is also the founding fellow of the biggest Institute of Coaching, Harvard Medical School, at McLean and trained from the Wharton Total Leadership Program. She is a working group member of the GIEESC/ World Health Organization member and featured as a medical expert on CNN, Fox News, Forbes, and many others. She is the recipient of the Patients Choice, Compassionate Physician Award and also an author of internationally-selling textbooks by Oxford University Press, ‘Interventional Pain Medicine’ and ‘Pharmacology in Anesthesia Practice’ and ’50 Studies Every Anesthesiologist Should Know.’ Anita has completed the public advocacy fellowship with the Mayday Foundation and also has been called in a high-level discussion on medical topics involving Tiger Woods, Bill Cosby, Angelina Jolie, and Prince. Gupta’s contributions have earned her recognition for research, community service, and pain medicine expertise.
