Dr. Gurdeep Singh completed his MBBS and MS in Ophthalmology from Gandhi medical college Bhopal.
He worked for one year at Sevagram hospital, Wardha before returning to Gwalior to join as Assistant Professor in GRMC medical college in 1987. Since his early professional life, he was keen to learn the latest surgical skills and for that purpose, he did fellowships from many international centers of repute.

Did his FICO fellowship from Kiryu eye hospital Japan, FOMS from St. Vincent Hospital, Karlsruhe, Germany. After that, he went to work in Melbourne Australia to pursue training in Vitreoretinal surgery at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
He was one of the pioneers to implant intraocular lenses during cataract surgery in Madhya Pradesh in 1986. Dr. Gurdeep has presented various papers at National, International & state conferences. He has also been invited as guest faculty and guest surgeon in various workshops all over India. He has many publications in various national & international ophthalmology journals. His areas of interest are Cataract, Vitreoretinal & laser surgery.
