CAREER

Jatin Goswami made his acting debut in the 2009 film ‘Bombay Summer,’ written and directed by Joseph Mathew. The film depicted the collapse of three friends striving to live in Mumbai, as a result of treachery and personal tragedy. Jatin portrayed Madan, with Gaurav Dwivedi and Samrat Chakrabarti.

He appeared in the action thriller film ‘Tezz’ in 2012. In the film, Jatin worked with Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Zayed Khan, Sameera Reddy, and Boman Irani. Jatin improved his acting talents with each new job, and he began to get critical acclaim for his work. His performance in ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ is one among his career highlights. The Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Kushan Nandy depicts the life and times of a small-time contract killer, Babu, his love, his friends, his rivalries, and his retribution. Jatin plays the role of Banke Bihari, another contract murderer who looks up to Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Babu Bihari. The Bombay Summer actor had an outstanding performance in Babumoshai Bandookbaaz and got widespread critical acclaim for it. Bidita Bag, Shraddha Das, Murali Sharma, Divya Dutta, Mahesh Chandra Deva, and a few more also appeared in the film. The film was released theatrically on 25 August 2017.

Although the cast of the film did their best to offer a decent film to the viewers, ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ received harsh criticism from critics due to the film’s inappropriate material. Cleavage, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, cussing, firearms, murder, sex, cleavage, cussing, sex, Nawaz- repeat, end, according to one media outlet. That is Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, a film that is the consequence of its whole crew going absolutely nude in every part of filmmaking in order to make a profit. The film bombards you with every Hindi gaali you’ve ever heard; I’m not a sensitive person; from Takashi Miike to Pedro Almodovar, I don’t mind edgy, abstract, or objectionable stuff in popular films. The truly vulgar but unrepentant essence of this picture can only be likened to pornography, and whereas the latter is a result of gross physicality, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is a creation of crude thinking.”

The Bombay Summer Summer actor made his television debut in 2019 with the Indian sci-fi TV series ‘Skyfire,’ created by Soumik Sen, which debuted on ZEE5 on May 22, 2019. Prateik Babbar, Sonal Chauhan, Jisshu Sengupta, and Denzil Smith were among the series’ lead actors. In the television series, Jatin Goswami played Sayyed Ali Hassan.

Jatin Goswami appeared in ‘The Great Indian Murder,’ a web series that aired on Disney+ Hotstar in 2022. It was based on Vikas Swarup’s 2016 best-selling novel Six Suspects. The series’ trailer was virtually unveiled in the presence of Gaurav Banerjee, Content Head Disney+ Hotstar, and Ajay Devgn and Priti Vinay Sinha, the series’ producers. He was also cast in Ayushmann Khurrana’s forthcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film ‘Anek,’ written and directed by Anubhav Sinha, in February 2022.
