Sashidhar Jagdishan completed his schooling at a private school in his hometown and completed his graduate course in the Bachelor of Science from Mumbai University. Then he completed a postgraduate in Economics of Money, Banking, and Finance at the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom.
CAREER
Sashidhar Jagdishan joined HDFC Bank in 1996, after earning his master’s degree. He first took the position of manager in financial services and was promoted to the rank of Business Head of Finance in 1999.
Sashidhar Jagdishan has over 29 years of experience and has helped in the growth of HDFC Bank. It also leads to financial performance and plays an important role in supporting the organization to achieve strategic objectives throughout the year.
Now, Sashidhar Jagdishan will look to the future as the next chief executive officer of HDFC Bank as the Reserve Bank of India approves his appointment for the post on August 4, 2020. Its term will begin in October 2020 and it will hold this position for the next three years.
