Tikkavarapu Anjana Reddy is an Indian businesswoman from Hyderabad, India.
Anjana Reddy was born on March 15, 1988 in Hyderabad, India to entrepreneur Shanthi Reddy and T Vinayak Ravi Reddy, Managing Director of Deccan Chronicle.
She was the eldest kid and a budding badminton player. After being forced to retire from badminton due to exhaustion, she concentrated on her studies. Purdue University awarded her a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign awarded her a master’s degree in corporate finance and asset management. Anjana received her post-graduate degree from the University of Illinois in 2011.
In 2011, Anjana founded a company called Collectabillia, an online portal in India that sells and auctions memorabilia of sporting stars.
In April 2012, Anjana founded Universal Sportsbiz Private Limited (USPL) in partnership with cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who invested 2.7 million dollars in the company. In 2012, Accel partners invested Rs. 17.25 crore. In 2014, she signed Lionel Messi for Collectabillia. In 2014, Anjana Reddy’s Universal Sportsbiz (USPL), launched WROGN – a youth fashion and lifestyle brand. The Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli is the face of the brand and also co-owns the brand.
Anjana worked with Shraddha Kapoor to develop Imara, a women’s ethnic wear clothing line, in 2015. Jacqueline Fernandez was named Imara’s brand ambassador in 2018.
Anjana launched Ms. Taken in partnership with Kriti Sanon in 2016. Ms. Taken is a women’s western clothing line.
Accel Partners invests $13.5 million in USPL in 2018. In 2019, Anjana collaborated with Aditya Roy Kapoor to develop the men’s fashion label SINGLE.
