Sanjib Dutta is an Indian film editor who works primarily in the Hindi film industry.
Sanjib Dutta was born on 18 February 1989 in Kamrup, Assam.
In a career spanning over two decades, An alumnus of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Sanjib Kumar Datta initially worked as an assistant to late editor Renu Saluja. His first big project was the 1998 film Bada Din, he has served as an editor on over 50 films, notably Ek Hasina Thi (2004), Iqbal (2005), Aashayein (2010), Banshiwala (2010), and Mardaani (2014). For his work in Mardaani, Sanjib was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Editor in 2014. Other significant editorial credits include 3 Deewarein (2003), Hyderabad Blues 2 (2004), Dor (2006), The Stoneman Murders (2009), 8×10 Tasveer (2009).
