Shraddha Bindroo is well known for being the Slain Kashmiri pandit Makhanlal Bindroo’s daughter. She is an Indian associate professor of medicine at PGI Chandigarh, India.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Shraddha bindroo was born in Indira Nagar, Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir, India. She was born in a Hindu Kashmiri Pandit family. His father was the owner of bindroo medicare in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir. That pharmacy was started by his father. Her mother, Kiran Bindra also works at their pharmacy. Har brother is a famous diabetologist in Kashmir.
FATHER KILLED IN A TERRORIST ATTACK
During the withdrawal of Kashmiri pandits in 1990 in India. Her father decided to stay in Kashmir and serve the state. He had a pharmacy shop there and was one of the most popular pharmacists in the town. On 5 October 2021, her father along with two other civilians was killed by the terrorist in Srinagar.
After that, he was taken to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, India, where the doctor declared him dead.
On his demise, Mehbooba Mufti express her sympathy, and the lieutenant governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family. Later, Junaid Azim Mattu said that a road in Srinagar would be named after Makhanlal Bindroo.
SHRADDHA’S COMMENT MADE HER A HERO
In the interview, she said that her father was a fighter. He used to say that he will die with his shoes on. She also added that terrorists can kill one person but they can’t kill the spirit of Makhanlal. See also challenged that if a terrorist has the guts and courage come and have a face to face debate with her then she will see what he is.
She further said that her father was an awesome person who served Kashmir. His body has gone but his spirit is still alive.
