Vinod Agarwal is a Devotional Singer, Writer, and Businessman. He is famous for Krishna Bhajans.


Vinod Agarwal was born on the 6th of June 1955 in New Delhi, India. His nickname is Sankirtan Samrat. He belongs to the vaishya (Baniya) family. His Zodiac sign is GEMINIHis father late Mr. Kisanand Agarwal and his mother Late Smt. Ratnadevi Agarwal was a devout believer in Lord Krishna and Radha He has only one brother. On December 11, 1975, he married Kusumlata Agarwal. Then his wife became their power who used to visit along with Vinod Ji IN every program. He has one son and one daughter whose name is Jatin Agarwal (Garment Businessman) and Shikha Agarwal.


At the age of seven, Vinod Ji moved to Mumbai along with his family. His parents always invited saints and headteachers to their place. At the age of 12, Vinod Ji began their singing journey and also began to learn harmonium to use this instrument while singing.
His father urged him to do the kirtans as his childhood days. When Vinod Ji used to do kirtan their kirtan was very popular with a large group of people in their area. From there, they started attaining popularity.


After marriage, they wanted to focus more on their singing to sing the bhajan of god with their real devotions towards Lord Krishna. People watched a glow in the young boy, who with his beautiful anthems and even kirtans created a religious aura. In 1979 Vinod Ji took Diksa from Shri Mukund Hari Ji Maharaj of Bhatinda (who is known as the Shankaran Samrat, and they were a famous writer of several kinds languages such as Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi
In addition to singing, he was a proficient writer in Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi. During his life, he performed more than 1500 live programs, both in India and abroad. Apart from the live shows, he released more than 115 Audio Cassettes, CDs, and VCDs worldwide.
On the 6th of November 2018, he passed away in Mathura around 4 am due to multiple organ failures. His last sankirtan on Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
