Sriharsha Majety is the Co-Founder and CEO at Swiggy.
Education
Majety graduated received a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics and an M.Sc. in Physics at Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani. He then held Level II in the CFA program before deciding to pursue PGDM in IIM-Kolkata funding.
Career
Sriharsha Majety worked for a year at Nomura International as an annotator.
In 2010, Sriharsha Majety worked briefly as a summer analyst at Nomura International (a securities broker/dealer firm). After 2011, he joined Nomura International’s London office as a partner at the tariff counter. A year later, he resigned from work and decided to return to India to begin.
Between August 2013 and June 2014, Sriharsha and his BITS Pilani partner, Nandan Reddy, opened a logistics collection company to help e-commerce companies called Bundl Technologies. The idea didn’t go away and they had to close the store. Within the next few months, Sriharsha launched Swiggy.
