Dr. Vikas Divyakirti is an IAS trainer, Author, educator, and Lecturer. He is also the founder and director of the Drishti IAS coaching classes in Delhi.

Dr. Vikas was born on Sunday 26th of December 1976 in Haryana, India. His father and mother are professors of Hindi Sahitya at Delhi University. his wife’s name is Dr. Taruna Verma (MD at Drishti – The Vision). His son’s name is Satwik Divyakirti. Her zodiac sign is Capricorn.

CAREER
Dr. Vikas passed the UPSC examination on his first attempt in 1996 and became an IAS officer.
After becoming an IAS officer, Vikas was assigned to the Ministry of Home Affairs. He served the post for a year and after, resigned from his job as he wanted to teach the students at Delhi University. In 1999, Vikas founded the Drishti IAS Coaching Centre in Delhi for UPSC aspirants. He is the editor of the current affairs monthly magazine called ‘Drishti Current Affairs Today.’
His YouTube channel is named ‘Drishti IAS’ which was started in 2017. He uploads videos related to lectures on different topics, study material for UPSC, and exam preparation strategies videos on his channel.
