Prafull Billorei is famos as MBA Chai Wala. He is mostly known by his YouTube Videos. He has built himself a quite successful tea business, when he was doing his bachelor’s degree he was actually having trouble studying; so he thought of starting his own business. He wanted to go for his further studies, he want to do an MBA but unfortunately he could not get a seat in any colleges. At the age of 20, he was upset because of his CAT exam results. This failure only made him strong to own his own business stronger.
After this happened, he took a trip across India in cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, etc. some well-known American people had inspired him to start working, so he started working at a Mcdonald’s. While doing work for 50 days he decided to open a tea stall and He had borrowed rs.8000 from his father. He used to open his tea stall at night for only a few hours.
He made rs. 300 total on his first day, but on the next day, he makes a strategy to interact with his customers and offering them chai in English. His strategy worked, more and more people came gather to see his English skills and drink his tea.
At first, his parents were totally unaware about his side hustle. But soon his sales grew and this became his main tough part. In the beginning, he stayed strong and faced a lot of hardships but he carried on.
Prafull Billore always tried new innovative idea for his tea stall. He put up a whiteboard where people write their phone numbers, who is in search of jobs so that other customers who needed employees could contact them.
Over the years, He has hosted various events like “Free Chai for Singles” on Valentine’s Day, Poetry/Singing nights called “Mehfil-E-Kavita”, many sessions organized by honorable individuals who motivate the youth about entrepreneurship. He has conducted political campaigns with Delhi and Bihar state governments respectively and hosted fundraisers for cancer patients, underprivileged people, and Kerala flood relief funds.
