Devkinandan Thakur Ji Maharaj, the great reader of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, was born on 12 September 1978 in Ohava village, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. Born in a Brahmin family, Thakur Ji Maharaj’s father’s name was Shri Rajveer Sharma and his mother was both religious. At the age of 6, Devkinandan left home and went to Vrindavan where he attended the Rasleela Sansthan in Braj, where he played the roles of Lord Krishna and Lord Rama.
