Vishwa Deenadayalan was a talented and famous Indian table tennis player. He won several National as well as international level competitions. Unfortunately, he died on 17 April 2022 in a road accident .

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Vishwa Deendayalan was born on 4th January 2004 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His father’s and mother’s names are Deena dayalan and Anuradha Deena Dayalan respectively.

EDUCATION

Vishwa Deenadayalan had completed his schooling at Jaigopal Garodia Vivekananda Vidyalaya then he did B.Com from Loyola College, Chennai, India.

CAREER

Vishwa Deenadayalan had a deep interest in the field of table tennis at a young age. As a result, his father admitted him to a tennis club (Krishnaswamy Tennis Club) in Chennai, India. Initially, he learned tennis from two well-known faces in the world of table tennis, Jai Prabhu Ram and Ramnath Prasad. He was a member of the famed Tamizhaga Table Tennis Association and also reached pre-quarters in the Hyderabad national. As part of TTTA, he was selected for the 83rd senior National and Inter-state table tennis competition at Shillong.
Excellent he was also chosen as a part of the Indian squad. That’s why would be representing the nation in the U-19 world table tennis youth contender at Austria, which was to begin on 27 April 2022.

AWARDS AND HONORS

• Republic Day Cup -2013.
• U-19 junior National Champion – 2018.
• He represented India at the Cadet boys’ team event and won the gold medal in -2018.
• National Ranking Tournament Champion -2022.

DEATH

On 17 April 2022, Vishwa Deenadayalan, along with three other players was the way from Guwahati airport to Shillong, they were going to participate in the 83rd Senior National and Inter-state Table Tennis Competition. The taxi in which they were traveling, collided with a 12-wheeler truck at National Highway 6. All the players were immediately rushed to a Civil Hospital at Nongpoh with the help of locals where they were declared dead.
