Maithili Jawkar is an Indian producer, politician ( BJP Member), and also actress. She did many rules in lots of Marathi films and Hindi TV serials. She was also a contestant in the popular reality show Bigg Boss Marathi season 2.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Maithili Jawkar was born on 25 January 1980 in the Deshastha Brahmin family in Mumbai, India. She has a sibling named Yashodhan Dighe.
EDUCATION
Maithili Jawkar completed her schooling at the New English School, Dapoli, Maharashtra. See did M.A in Hindi literature from Ramnarayan Ruia College, Mumbai Maharashtra, India. In her college days, she used to participate in so many events.
CAREER
Maithili Jawkar begin her career by started performing in theatres and then she got her first break in 2006 in the Marathi film Aai Mala Maaf Kar. In 2015, she produced her first Marathi film named Chabu weds Babu. In 2016, she debuted in the Hindi TV serial – Hoshiyar: Sahi Waqt Sahi Kadam.
In 2017, she was elected as a member of the Maharashtra state sensor board and after that, she became the CEO of the board.
Maithili is also a member of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva morcha because she realized that acting is not enough to serve people and make them happy hence she joined politics.
